Milano Design Week 2024期間中、TANGO FABRICの展示を実施します

Milan Design Week 2024の期間中、ミラノのブレラ地区にあるインテリアテキスタイルを扱うC&C Milanoにて、京都府の事業の一環「NEXTANGO」で丹後の織物を紹介する展示を実施できることになりました。
約1年にわたって、ミラノからミラノ工科大学やC&C Milanoの方々に丹後に足を運んでいただき、織物の背景にある自然・風土、歴史や生活文化など幅広い視点から丹後の魅力を伝えていく中で、織物を通じた相互のインスピレーションを高め合える機会となっていきました。
今回の展示は、イタリアの目線から見た丹後の生地と技術の可能性や背景にある丹後の奥深さをご紹介する内容になっています。たくさんの方々のご協力をいただき、展示を実現できることになりました！感謝申し上げます。

During Milan Design Week 2024, we are pleased to be able to hold an exhibition introducing Tango textiles at C&C Milano, which deals with interior textiles in the Brera district of Milan, as part of Kyoto Prefecture’s “NEXTANGO” project.
For about a year, people from Politecnico di Milano and C&C Milano visited Tango, and as we conveyed the appeal of Tango from a wide range of perspectives, including the nature and climate, history and lifestyle culture behind the textiles, it became an opportunity to enhance mutual inspiration through textiles.
This exhibition is designed to introduce the possibilities of Tango’s fabrics and techniques as seen from the Italian perspective, as well as the depth of Tango in the background. Thanks to the cooperation of many people, we are able to realize this exhibition! We would like to express our gratitude.
